Living in Erlangen and Nuremberg
Erlangen (115,000) and Nuremberg (523,000 inhabitants) form the centre of the European metropolitan region of Nuremberg, in Middle Franconia, Bavaria. Both towns are over 1,000 years old and are the main sites of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, founded in 1743.
